How to read this

Where did the prices come from?

They come from the earlier BalanceBitcoin historical returns page (August 2026 copy) and were re-checked in September 2026. Approximate year-end closes. Not exchange settlement prints.

Why show CAD on a USD price path?

The return multiplier is the same in either currency if you held Bitcoin across the window. The dollar labels on start and end prices follow the scrape. Your CAD buying power still moves with FX.

Should I buy because a past window looks large?

No. Past returns do not predict the next cycle. Size with the allocation tool, place with TFSA or corporate rules that fit you, and assume deep drawdowns will show up again.
